Fun Filled Kids Club Seattle

Are you unhappy with the way you look? You are certainly not alone. If you are obese, there is no reason to keep going through life being embarrassed to walk on the beach. If you find yourself shying away from social situations and interacting with others simply because you are insecure about your appearance, it is time for you to make a change in your life. That change should begin by joining a gym. While exercising by yourself is certainly better than not exercising at all, many people do not get the same motivation working out alone that they do in a gym when they are surrounded by people. This is especially true regarding people who are new to working out and may be tempted to quit soon after they begin. These high risk cases need all the support
and motivation they can get.

Working out in a fitness class is often beneficial to people who are not used to exercising. They get motivation from the other people in the class who are in better shape and are more experienced. If you think you might want to join a fitness class, here are a couple of the classes you might enjoy:

BodyPump

The BodyPump fitness class is weight-based. Created by Phillip Mills in 1991, you will now find it in 10,000 gyms in 70 countries. The length of the classes are one hour. They are made up of eight songs that that are connected to specific muscle groups. A song is also played to warm up and cool down. A 45-minute version of the BodyPump class also exists. In this class, two songs pertaining to biceps and triceps are eliminated. Barbells, an aerobic step and free-weight plates are utilized in these classes. Based on the fitness goals of each person, they choose which plates they want to use. A series of compound and isolation-based exercises such as presses, dead lifts and squats are used on muscle groups.

Zumba

Zumba is a fitness program that is based on dancing that Alberto Perez created in the 1990s. Perez is a dancer and choreographer from Columbia. There are equal elements of dance and aerobics incorporated into a Zumba workout. You will also find a little soca, mambo, samba, martial arts, salsa, hip-hop and merengue mixed in for good measure. Routines in Zumba classes frequently contain squats and lunges. All instructors must be licensed by the Zumba Academy to teach these one hour classes.
